Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, gently mix all ingredients other than the vanilla and almond butter with a fork. This can be done the night before and chilled in the fridge, covered, if desired. 

  2. Simmer over medium-low heat for 3-5 minutes or until porridge is creamy and oatmeal-like in consistency. 

  3. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and then serve. Top individual bowls with almond butter as desired.
